An arrest has been made in another school district but McAllen ISD is continuing to monitor the situation. All threats are taken seriously. We will post updates as warranted. McAllen ISD students will enjoy an early release on Friday, August 30th kicking off their weekend a little sooner! Time of dismissal for elementary is 11:55 am. All elementary after school programs are canceled, including Boys and Girls Club, Safe & Secure, and City of McAllen Parks and Recreation. ¡Los estudiantes de McAllen ISD disfrutarán de una salida temprana el viernes 30 de agosto, comenzando su fin de semana un poco antes! Good morning Milam community, We are thrilled to welcome our families and students to Meet the Teacher Night tomorrow evening. Gates will open @ 4:15 pm on the north side of the building, entrance by the cafeteria. You and your child will have the opportunity to see their classroom and drop off your child's school supplies. This will help your child transition coming to a new school and give you the opportunity to walk your child to their classroom. ¡Hola padres!
