McAllen ISD is on iTunesU!
That makes McAllen ISD one of the first school districts in the country to post curriculum on this electronic format that, until now, has always been reserved strictly for universities. One of the first series that has been posted is an award-winning conversational Spanish TV series that features McAllen ISD students, ?Platiquemos? Stories on KGBT Channel 4, KVEO Channel 23, McAllen Cable Network, The Monitor.

I would like to thank our students and their parents for their attendance and participation in the state assessments (STAAR) for this school year. I am certain that our students were prepared to meet this challenge. We ask for your continued support in ensuring that your child is in school on a daily basis. There is still much learning to be done this month.
Le doy las gracias a nuestros estudiantes y a sus padres por su asistencia y participación el los examenes estatales (STAAR) de este año escolar. Estoy segura de que nuestros estudiantes estubieron preparados para enfretar ese reto. Les pido su apoyo continuo en asegurarse de que su hijo/a asista a la escuela cada día. Nos queda much por aprender durante este mes.
